Learn & Play

Wednesday, November 1, at 10 a.m.

This child-focused program gives children the opportunity to explore art, science and sensory materials at our learning tables. Recommended for children ages 2 and older. Special Guests Officer Heather and Chase!

Crafty Kids

Saturday, November 4, at 10 a.m.

Stop by the children’s room at the Groton Public Library to make a fun craft, available while supplies last.

 Read with Major

Saturday, November 4, at 10 a.m.

Stop by the children's room at the Groton Public Library for a chance to read to our local therapy dog, Major! Reading times available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 Sing & Stomp

Wednesday, November 8, at 10 a.m.

Join us for an active, music-enriched program open to all! Sing & Stomp is a noisy half hour of songs, dance, and fingerplays; no registration necessary.

 Preschool Story Art

Thursday, November 9, at 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

Preschoolers ages 4-5 will listen to a story, then create artwork inspired by that story. Space is limited; registration opens at noon, one week prior to program.  Family Grab & Go: Wreaths

Monday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Help us decorate the Groton Public Library for the holiday season with this wreath-themed Grab & Go for families.

Grab: Pick up a wreath during regular Library hours on Monday, November 13; available while supplies last.

Go: Bring your wreath home and decorate it using your own supplies and talent. Be creative! One crafter will be chosen to win a Library swag bag.

Return your completed project by Monday, November 27. They will be on display around the Library through the end of December.

 Playgroup @ the Groton Public Library

Wednesday, November 15, at 10 a.m.

Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome to explore our play-based activities in this unstructured program.
