QC Reads Book Discussion: Cork O’Connor Mysteries

Please join us to discuss the Cork O'Connor Mysteries, written by the 2023 Quiet Corner Reads author William Kent Krueger. Light refreshments will be served. Mary Treat: A Biography, by Deborah Boerner Ein
Friday, May 5th - 6:30pm
Please join us to meet author Deborah Boerner Ein, biographer of Mary Treat, a 19th century naturalist whose studies coincided with those of Charles Darwin. With access to the Treat files at the Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society, Deborah tells the story of Mary Treat through her publications and letters, which included correspondents such as prominent botanists, entomologists, and even Darwin himself. Copies of Mary Treat: A Biography will be available for sale and signing. Light refreshments will be served.
Cookbook Club: Favorite Recipes Handed Down by Mothers

If you answered yes, consider joining the Chaplin Public Library's Cookbook Club. In honor of Mother's Day, the theme for May will be Favorite Recipes Handed Down by Mothers. Weather permitting, we'll meet and eat outside under the tent. Please speak with a librarian to sign up.
