JULY EVENTS

The Roxbury Public Library, composed of the Minor Memorial Library and the Hodge Memorial Library, will provide the community with inspiration, information, and a sense of place based on Roxbury’s history and future.

Summer Reading 2023

Drum & Sing Jamboree

Friday, July 7th
3pm

Liz McNicholl will lead an interactive concert for children and families filled with singing, dancing, and playing a multitude of instruments (eggs, sticks, scarves, drums, and etc.)

All ages. No registration required.

Science Heroes

Saturday, July 15th
11am

Part of the Tri-Town Summer Challenge
In this action-packed story, two unlikely heroes work together to save their town (and the planet) from a super-polluting mastermind!

Throughout the adventure, volunteers will help the performer conduct several exciting science experiments that bring this story to life! Together we’ll explore Newton’s Laws of Motion, air pressure, chemical reactions, and more!

All ages. No registration is required.

This CT-based bluegrass band offers a fun mix of traditional standards, entertaining classics and originals that bring fond memories and a smile.

All acoustic in the bluegrass tradition!
