Classics of Modern Short Fiction
This course is a unique opportunity to study and discuss a variety of the seminal authors of the last two centuries by reading their short fiction. Led by writer, editor, and professor Joseph Reynolds, the seminar will be driven by open forum discussion and everyone will have the opportunity to articulate their perspective and debate a wide range of interpretations. Film and Discussion: Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom
In just 93 days, what started as peaceful student demonstrations became a violent revolution. Netflix original documentary, Winter on Fire, brings you the story of Ukraine's fight for freedom from the frontlines of the 2014 uprising. Tuesday, 5/9 at 6:30PM.

Performance Artist & Storyteller
On Thursday, 5/18, in partnership with First Church West Hartford, we present performance artist, Jedda La Rue of Family-N-Motion, for an evening of storytelling, filled with music, dance, theatrical connections, and even some original songs! This performance takes place in the auditorium of First Church West Hartford.

Grades 5-7. Calling all tweens! The Faxon Meeting Room is the place to hang out after school for chess, VR, art cart, beads, and board games. Registration is required. Meets on Wednesdays, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17 & 5/24 at 3PM.
