What Isabella Wanted Children’s Storytime and Art Workshop

Join Art Teacher, Natalie O’Brien of South Windsor’s Orchard Hill School, as she invites elementary school aged children to discover Isabella Stewart Gardner and her wonderful art collection. Fee is $15.  Pre-registration is suggested to save your child’s seat.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Art Heist Lecture

One of the main suspects in the heist, Robert “The Cook” Gentile, lived in Manchester, Connecticut and thus fell under the scrutiny of long-time Courant federal crime reporter Ed Mahony, who was one of several reporters featured in the recent Netflix series. Bring your questions and come hear his thoughts and theories about the single largest property theft in the world. The fee is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Pre-registration is suggested.

“Good Night Oppy!” Children’s Storytime and Science Workshop

2pm to 4pm

This unique program invites elementary school aged children to explore the wonders of Space with the Mars rover, Opportunity. Oppy’s adventure in space–combined with her grit and perseverance–will inspire and educate young readers of all ages. This story is paired with a science based activity. Don’t miss this one of a kind children’s program! Fee is $15.  Pre registration is suggested to save your child’s seat.
